We also have a good lacrosse program and I don't think that anyone in the Big 10 has ever heard of that sport?

Still, I get your point. I guess whatever happens, happens & I doubt any of us will be polled before it does.

BTW, when I checked those links I was glancing @ all the sports listed under "select a sport" & saw "shopping" - SHOPPING! Man, I know some folks who would have lettered easily in that one! I subsequently realized my error. <g>

Dennis, I've got other ideas for conference realignment...

but I can see why you'd leave out the only school in the country, let alone the entire east coast, that dominated Syracuse in 2003 in both basketball and lacrosse...and the year is still young so, with a little luck, we should add football to the list before the end of November. ;)

also, Miami coach Larry Coker apparently isn't ready to jump at a potential ACC offer. Here's his quote from Friday night courtesy of ESPN.com.

"I'd like to play schools in the ACC, but we don't need to get in a conference to do that," Coker said Friday night. "I don't think being in the ACC is a big advantage to us. Then there would be the issue of Florida State. When we would play them, would we be in the same division, would we knock each other from the BCS?"
