Edscharp, I told you that I am entitled to my views about the Jews and the Wasps. I will hold onto that until I see a woman or an Afro-American or a Jewish person become President. No response would change what we have out there. I didn't respond since you said that nobody gets into that territory and getting there is very un-American.

Regarding Colin Powell, he served in the military and hence laid his life on the line. To me a person who commits that supreme commitment to defend this country is one who has provided quality service in this country. Dabling in politics and spending taxpayers money like Cheney (Congressperson and Defence Minister) and Rumsfeld is not anywhere near comparable to the service that Colin Powell has provided. Salute to a soldier and not "support our troops" by committing them to die. It is ironic that a soldier should head the State Department to lobby diplomatically so that we do not have to go into war and sacrifice lives of the troops. A true soldier does that. Wish Rumsfeld and Cheney valued American lives and not treat them cery casually.

Guantanamo is another form of atrocity that the US commits overseas. It can go out into the world and yell from rooftops that this is a country where we are free with legal rights etc. etc. But what the world sees is Guantanamo Bay and there are millions of 8 to 13 year olds in the Arab World who grow up hating the US because of Guantanamo Bay. And when they get to be around 30 years, they are the ones who will flow planes into the towers and kill themselves. IMO, that is where the war against terrorism should be fought: Guantanamo Bay. It is not a correst approach to adopt and say that they fired on American troops and hence they deserve to be imprisoned. Besides there is dual standard of justice: one for US citizens another for world citizens. It should not be so from a country that yearns to be a world leader. Remember Hitler who thought the Germans were superior and hence had a right to walk into any country. Finally the world got fed up of Hitler and ganged up against him militarily.

And lastly, my guessing your heritage and the region of the USA you are from is as bad as your guess about the region of the world I am from and my US citizenship.

Have a nice day
