How does syria actually kick hizbollah out of syria/lebanon as opposed to just closing offices in damascus? Easier said than done

Hizbullah is there as a guest and their army does not match up to Syria's. Syria could chase them out if it wished. It doesn't wish.

I remember reading somewhere that they had rejected suicide bombing as a tactic for moral reasons and at the same time they sort of strike me as military force/army that can be reined in if there is a fair deal--i know, define fair

Say what? This is the same group that did the Marine Barracks in 1983, remember. Just recently a Hizbullah spokesman called for suicide attacks on Americans everywhere. The latest suicide bombers in Tel Aviv came via Damascus and used a new type of explosive; Israeli intelligence is still trying to figure out whether they were supplied by Hizbullah or Al Qaeda, but Hizbullah is looking more likely.

Nah, this 'we're just a political party' line is pablum to fool the Euros and other fellow travelers. It isn't true.

PS if you could settle with syria et al, that might be signal the end of arafat and the palestine terrorists as support dries up in the new world.

You need to settle with Syria and Iran for Arafat, Iran for Hizbullah, and Saudi Arabia for Hamas.
