You Clinton Cultists are also in denial of "dire", which would certainly be a great description for the DISASTROUS Clinton/Rubin deflation which Bush is now fighting to stem-while Clinton/Rubin's party fights for a new Great Depression so they can, as Gephardt says, "win 40 House seats"...

Actually, your claim that the National Debt, was in surplus is incorrect. The National Debt was never a surplus during the Clinton Administration. Further, every year of the Clinton Administration, the level of the National Debt increased. Clinton did however, significantly decrease the growth rate of the National Debt.
