Don, I believe we are 95% in synch on views
I dont invest in the euro
I will exploit gold & silver gains versus currencies
what I have said all along is that the euro will be a temporary vehicle during the transition from the dollar to gold or gold-backed currencies
e.g. upcoming Islamic Dinar or Chinese Yuan (in time)

I fully expect the euro to rise against the dollar to the point that an overvalued euro will send their economy into the shitter
they are teetering now
a rising currency will tip them over the edge
a shorterm investment capital flow will benefit them briefly
but not enough to matter in this shrinking environment

I agree
the ECB will flood the FOREX with euros, already begun
it will enter a 2nd and 3rd gear soon
they will lap up demand for euros with new EuroBond issuance
as soon as that Duisenberg gets his head out of his ass

d'accord?

as for the 15x greater gold backing of euro currency...
I expect this to be of monumental importance, but in the future
when the currency crisis fully ripens
and much talk in official and trading circles
