I never even wondered why, after we listened to Elton John for eighteen straight hours on our FM tuners at NO CHARGE, we STILL ran down to the store and paid $8 for the record. And most of us still have those records in the attic. (Note to some: "records" were the CD's of an earlier era. There were also these odd tapes that had no beginning or end-and no one could ever explain that-but I digress...) Seems like the stress over file-swapping is really hiding the reality from the creators and their producers that they just don't cut the mustard anymore...
