victor, gst is hacking. bush's tax plan sucks. more supply IS NOT what we need now. we need more DEMAND. the poor and lower middle class ought to get the dough, not the elite rich.

29 vs. 180K, sounds like both ends of the spectrum are a little exaggerated. It looked like more than 20 items were stolen according to the footage I saw, Victor. I'd say 1000 items are gone if I had to guess. That would be the portion of museum inventory that was on the floor at the time. The rest of the stuff was probably locked up. The problem is if they were having a big exhibit the good stuff might have been on the floor. But with the fear of war, maybe the curators were smart and kept the good stuff hidden. Art theft during war is nothing new after all.
