The release of the audited 2002 results was delayed to no later than July 6. The company said its turnover rose to $3.7 million in March after dropping to $2.58 million in January and $2.34 million in February, adding that the management is optimistic about the outlook. It has aggregate outstanding bank loans of $5.5 million due to certain local banks and has been making timely repayment of the loans in accordance with the revised repayment schedules. Meanwhile, it said it had $1.08 million cash on hand. Law Yau-tim has been appointed as an independent non-executive director with effect from Monday, replacing Peng Yingyong who resigned office. Trading of the shares has been suspended since 16 December 2002 and will remain suspended pending further announcement. infocastfn.com
