One more thought on Bonnet.

He's not a hypocrite for gambling. He's a hypocrite because he's a social conservative who's knee jerk response to the damaging report of his bizarre and extreme personal behavior was a LIBERTARIAN DEFENSE. "Yes I gamble, but it's my money, I'm not hurting anyone, so it's no one's business".

Fine, I agree. But his big thrust in life is that personal behavior IS THE BUSINESS of society. It matters what people do in their personal lives and if they are not virtuous SOCIETY IS HURT. Some of his enormous income is "earned" by lobbying Congress to pass more laws to MAKE people virtuous.

I've got a lot more things to say about this but I'll understand of folk tell me SHUT UP! ENOUGHT ABOUT BENNET.
