Perhaps this is not relevant to the discussion but a friend of mine who has recently been taking an OTC allergy medication told me that after taking it for awhile thought he was going to pass out and also told me that he had suffered a seizure. I just wonder if the drug companies believe it should be given under prescription and the FDA forces them to put it for sale OTC who will field product liability claims? Sounds to me like it will be hard to fault the companies when they have objected to this mode of distribution.
