Terrorism begins with hatred.** the problem isn't iraq. the iraqis love the US for freeing them. at least 95%. the problem is israel and how they displaced and treat many arabs. i'm all for trying to get a peaceful resolution there. in fact, you ought to bring this issue up with your elected officials and the president. **By resorting to military force over the opposition of the major players in the world community and by invading and occupying a country in the middle east, we help fuel hatred, and we help promote terrorism.** prove it with data. didn't think so. **People hate our arrogance.** actually, the french and germans and russians had a financial interest in keeping the butcher in place. how do you know that wasn't their driving motivation for not following through on 1441? **They hate our use of raw power. And they hate our occupation of an oil-rich country whose values differ substantially from our own.** actually, many little despots RESPECT only power. i can back up what i say when you can't. 1. n korea decided to talk and include some of their neighbors. they refused prior to the war. 2. syria, for the first time ever, has said they close down the offices of known terror organizations. even daschle is on board this war was soooooooo obvious. the palestinian / israeli conflict needs to be addressed. my hope is that it is and we give a real helping hand to the palestinians - not that we leave iraq and hand it back to saddam just to make the bush/conservative haters feel better.
