I think US Dept Trez should issue $1 tokens
make them a little larger than the quarter
and not too thick or heavy
nice tokens, maybe with a hole in the middle
heck, why not just use washers from the hardware store?

I hear the quarter is worth 10 cents
the dime is worth 4 cents
and three pennies are almost worth 1 cent
so why not a slug token to represent a dollar?
it can be worth about 35-40 cents worth of metal
the Canadians do it with C$1 and C$2 pieces, so why not us?

it amazes me that people in this country fail to realize that almost all assets are worth approximately 1/3-rd of what they sell for presently
a $300k house is worth $100k
S&P basket at 930 is worth 310
dollar is worth 35 on the index
your new $25k car is worth $8k
that $10k TrezBond is worth $3500

the big hint is from the value of the coins in our pockets
