Erik -

Thanks for your post on Cortex. (Learned alot real quick)

I got this from the news release on Yahoo ....

<<<<<<<<
Thus, any compound that works via the AMPA-R up-modulation or potentiation mechanism, developed by any company, would require a license from Cortex before it could be commercialized as a product in one of the countries covered by this patent portfolio
<<<<<<<<

biz.yahoo.com

Would you know of any database kind of web site that
lists current drugs in preclinical or human tests
that involve AMPA-R up-modulation or AMPA modulation
in general.

>> Cortex Pharmaceuticals COR >>

One of my moon-shot candidates. We haven't really been aiming for the moon of late. Things have been more like trying to stay afloat protecting the gains from the early share price increase. But, but, perhaps the tide is about to turn.

That is at least the impression I get, when I read a recent interview with the company's CEO Roger Stoll.

Somewhat surprising it turns for example out, that the company is running a clinical trial together with DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency). And that results are expected by the end of September. I never heard of that one before.

They are talking with three major pharmaceutical companies about a major North American license (MCI, I suppose).

Etc., etc..

Well worth a visit and a couple of minutes.

Erik
