I'm somewhat familiar with NLY having looked at the reits some time ago. Generally, I am bearish on real estate, mainly because that's my business and I think we're in a bubble in most areas of the US. I don't have a solid understanding of the derivative hedges that these mortgage reits specialize in therefore to me the risk is substantial(derivative mine approaching?). Now a Canroy seems much simpler. Sell NG, pay sky high divvies.

Now that's not fair. I hear he was "neutral" for a couple of months in 1978.
