Ed,

Tom Stauffer's estimates of the actual cost to the U.S. economy are not the sort of thing any Zionist would appreciate seeing in print for obvious reasons.

You do make some good points that Stauffer's analysis is biased against the Sharon/Likudnik/fascist rulers of Israel today. Clearly, the Likudniks have a vested interest in lying about all the little swindles and side deals that keep the American public deeply in the dark about how much off-the-books financing Israel finagles out of the U.S. economy.

Do you deny that loans to the Central Bank of Israel in the 1980's will most likely never be repaid, and that they do not show up on U.S. accounts? That seems to be a complete deceit of the American citizenry by some very fast-and-loose, creative capitalists. No? Don't you agree?

I can see it is easy to take pot shots at Stauffer's rather "global" overview of the giant sucking sound of Israel draining the coffers of America.

Do you also dispute the work of the WRMEA think tank?

Or do these figures, however outrageous they make aid to Israel appear compared to the rest of the world, seem reasonable to you.?

I was shocked to learn from the WRMEA analysis that for every dollar the U.S. provides in aid to a person in sub-Sahara Africa, we provide $250 in aid to an Israeli. Or that for every dollar the U.S. provides in aid to a Latin American, we provide $214 to an Israeli.

These figures jump off the page. Why are we so grossly and outrageously subsidizing the most vicious colonialist country in the world? Have we no decency?

Just wondering, Ray :)
