"Perhaps you were disappointed with the simplicity and irrefutability of my reply? The UN could enforce its resolutions"

Irrefutability? Do you even know what the word means?

The term "irrefutable" used properly and correctly refers to arguments that are made in a scientific or mathematical vein. It requires that you supply overwhelming evidence in the form of studies, hard data, observations and procedures consistent with the scientific method.

The word 'irrefutable' can never appropriately be used in the realm of culture, sociology, political or economic sciences because too much of it is based on point of view and opinion and it is virtually impossible to apply hard mathematics or the scientific method in the study of these disciplines.

All you have done is offer your opinion that the UN is right and I'm wrong. You've offered NOTHING FOR ME TO REFUTE.

I would suggest, however, that the issue of the UN and Israel/Palestine is an extremely debatable one. I would offer you Robert Barry's recent post on the subject as an example.
