GW Bush ignored the advice of Clinton's national security advisors when they tried to tell his Administration of the serious security risk posed by Al Quaeda. They responded by a study of the problem when they should have been preparing the defenses.

So long as Bush thinks that the economy is based on tarrifs and tax cuts things will continue to get worse, and worse.

Why was Greenspan so worried about deflation? The bottom is not marked by areas which are worse than ever before, but by the point where things begin getting better. So far there has been one bottom, followed by another ever since Junior was selected.
