The preponderance of the evidence suggests that at the very least there was a concerted effort to push people to believe that there was strong intelligence on the WMD issue what there clearly was not -- and in fact most evidence pointed the other way. There was also an attempt to make it look like there was a strong link between Saddam and 9/11, despite the preponderance of evidence pointing in the opposite direction.
