rkral, RE: For your "half" prediction to become true, Cisco's GAAP EPS would need to drop to $0.48 -- or less. Do you really believe Cisco's prospects are that bleak?

Cisco's earnings for the trailing 12 months are 46¢.

Hi rkral, not sure what Cisco's ttm EPS is, but I'm pretty sure it's less than $.88. Last I checked, it was more like $.44 or so. As far as the options expense amount, I'm not exactly sure what it is, but if I remember correctly from some article I read, I think that would drop their EPS by roughly half. Even if it is a little less, I remember the impact was huge. It's no coincidence that Chambers is fighting this thing so hard.
