As someone who is a 19 year veteran of the software industry I think anyone who invests in this company should definitely look at the products and the marketing power of the following companies that CommerceOne is in direct competition:

IBM
Oracle
Microsoft

And smaller companies such as Ariba (which in my view would soon be out of business just like CommerceOne).
