Bonds Overbought?
Perhaps. It is true that Jake Bernstein's DSIs on TBonds are showing high bullishness. I took the position in Bill Gross's fund a month or so ago, because its a recent addition to my Variable Annuity's list of choices and I consider Bill Gross the best Bond Manager available. Also, an intermediate term bond fund like his has a much smaller range of fluctuation than a stock fund, and can invest in corporate bonds as well. The TBond overbought reading is, therefore, less important, and perhaps the ongoing yield will fully offset any loss of bond price. At any rate, this is a first for me (intermediate term bond fund) and I'm learning by doing. So far it's up a couple of % or so.
