They put up a list this morning on CNBC "Stock-Talk" listing about 10 industry groups and how much their 2002 earning would be reduced by expensing stock options.
Number one? You guessed it.

high TECH at 68%

The next highest was at about 12% and it went down from there as I recall.

So if stock options are expensed retroactively in 2002, TECH earning drop 68% on average.

Not hard to see what's wrong with this picture.
