People can say whatever they want about this conference being better than that conference...TV money and all the rest..but.

Any decent eastern football/basketball conference should have BC, Pitt, West Virginia, Penn State, Syracuse, V Tech, Rutgers and UConn (they have a great sports program and their div 1 football team will (should) be very competitive in a reasonably short time).

Eastern teams playing in an historically midwestern or southern conference may mean something money or BCS wise but it still seems odd and unnatural from a fan viewpoint.

There's something to be said about tradition and geographic rivalries, although the $ seems to trump all.

I'm not looking forward to some of the rumored changes.
