Article 51 of the UN Charter allows an individual or a nation to act unilaterally in self defense. Depending upon your point of view, this can include pre-emptive strikes:

Past that, the President of the United States has as his primary obligation the protection of the people of the United States and that still supercedes the UN--MK--

I did quote Resolution 1441. It talks of "material
breeches" & "severe consequences". Iraq committed several
additional "material breeches" & suffered "severe
consequences".

And the US didn't need Resolution 1441. The cease fire from
the Gulf War was still being regularly violated by Iraq.

As for you ridiculous question about Resolution 1441, "I
asked you to show me the part of 1441 that authorizes the
USA to unilaterally attack Iraq.....".....

Well, it is as stupid as many of your attempts to bash the
Bush Administration. It had no basis in fact. It has been
repeated so many times by fools like yourself that is has
gained myth status & only left wing idiots buy into the
fantasy.
