Sy Hersh is in trouble. If this charge does not stick, he has been wrong once too often, IMO. Let's hope Debka is right, and we can find the WMDs.


Why do you doubt for a minute that we'll find WMDs? Like the Nazis, the Iraqis tried to hide the incriminating evidence by destroying it or, in this case, shipping it to Syria. Also like the Nazis, the Iraqi clerks kept copious records, which they will not have had a chance to destroy (though the looters helped them there, and some of the looters may well have been Ba'athists). We now have what's left of the records, and the scientists too. We'll find the weapons. I don't worry about it.
