>>significant paradyme shift in wireless & wired world.<<

it ain't. 4G will be, 5G will be.

Have to differ with you here....or at least on the potentiality of 802.20. At data transmissions speeds of up 20 M/s and a range of 3-5 miles, 802.20 should interrupt the 3G rollout - sales have lagged - and may likely present issues with 4G, as well. 802.20 may also address last mile and "up to the curb" issues head on with fiber.

I suppose I should ask you your perspective on the following:

(1) 4G will rollout faster and will not present a cheaper faster wireless pipe? [Admittedly, some conceptual work has been done on the 4G standards body, but consensus has not yet been to formulated because it it is so far off
from my understanding.]

(2) Might you agree on the potential paradyme shift if the cost structure of a 802.20 rollout was significantly cheaper?

Thanks in advance for your perspective.....SB
