No. But maybe in that case it was just an idiot reporter. Because as you say, no one who sees pictures of hundreds of broken cases can believe that only 40 pieces are missing.

The problem is that there are always ready gullibles to believe the idiot reporters.

All we can do is note who is spreading the disinformation, and chalk them up as either naive or dishonest. Like for example anyone who cites Debka.
