To make it clear,
The implication was that Saddam or his son ordered the looting in Baghdad. Those events did not take place until after the troops were in place which makes it very unlikely that Saddam was hanging around hoping to tuck a golden harp in his travel bag.
I must constantly remind myself that neither subtlety nor tact work well in this posting environment.
