I'm not familiar with Will Thomas, but it looks like he did a decent job of putting a lot of information together. As far as back up research is concerned, I didn't notice much of anything mentioned where I haven't run across source documents elsewhere.

The main sticking point I have with most of these articles is the automatic assumption of OBL involvement. As close as I can tell, al Qaeda is about like gangs of Crips and Bloods as far as organization is concerned. Any goofball who wants to join up is pretty much a member just by saying they're a member. You could probably start your own local cell by running an ad in the classifieds and not have any problem finding an assortment of malcontent nut cases who want to join up.

The media likes to do their, "Lions and Tigers and Bears. Oh my!", routine to elevate them to super crook status, when all they are is losers waiting to spend the rest of their days in and out of jail. If OBL was any kind of mastermind, he would have provided his troops with false identities and made sure they were trained before entering the US. The very fact so many different countries "knew" al Qaeda was up to something should tip off anyone with the ability to think. If everyone "knows" it was al Qaeda before the attack, there isn't much problem plugging in the usual group of suspects after the fact. France, Germany and Russia all provided the US with detailed warnings, and the Bush administration reaction was to nod their heads that their alibi was established.

I might take the claim little George's IQ is 93 with a grain of salt, but then again, you never see him thinking in public either. Always scripted speeches and scripted questions, and anytime a public comment is required, it ALWAYS comes from a spokes person.

People like Bush and Atta never get anywhere unless there's someone smarter than a rock to prop them up.
