NF - far form it. I expect that cdma will expand as it has been doing and you only have to look at the fabulous figures from Japan to see that but the market looked at the Japan numbers this morning where 1x took the lead in increases and it has collapsed the stock. That is what they market thought of Japan. They thought it was good enough to sell.

I just can't see anyything that can change this kind of sentiment. I wonder what would happen if IJ accepted a takeover offer, ofr a huge increase in the price the shorts would still sell QCOM.

With all its good news the fact is that it has not only not participated in the rally but it has collapsed 25% in that last few weeks.

As I say I expect cdma to grown in market share and for people to go out and buy 1x handsets and next year DO handsets.

But the competition is closing in both in cdma and other technologies. That doesn't mean cdma will lose but it does mean that the shine is off the stock and with that and the shorts I just can't see why institutions will hold the stock through the summer.

Even stocks like INTC have held up so far so has MSFT. THere is something not right about the way Q keeps collapsing. But it does so who is going to bother to fight it.

Sure many will be watching the price on their 1X web browsers but the market seems not to be interested in this story any more.

Best,

L
