Here is the latest Republican thinking on what they can do about the Judges, John. I doubt it's Rep thinking so much as it's simply the nro take on life. My guess is Rep thinking, well, that's too large, Rep Senators thinking, is all over the lot on this one: some in agreement with the nuke strategy, some not so sure, some with enough foresight to realize it can easily be turned against them when the political weather changes, etc. If this is the misdirection game that Rove claimed it to be, then where's the action. Seems to me it's on the 123 already done. I would have preferred a Dem strategy that had more guts. Take every judicial nomination that could be framed as right wing extremist and go for broke.
