Sorry - don't follow this thread too much - but I thought you were talking June/July - but what about May? Isn't that up next week - doesn't that imply a bloodbath next week?
Been a clown I thought take it down hard next week (may be it will follow through til the week after) then take it up for June?

Why do you think every ones been buying poots? Judging from O/I in May its been a call buying festival for a while now, especially in non-tech.

jj, those figures are last week's

Although the figures were released the other day, they're for last week.

And although you might observe many people are buying puts, that fact must escape the analysts included in the polls, many of whom might not include sentiment in their calls.

One other observation, and this is just my read, but I've noticed that many on this thread place an extraordinary emphasis on sentiment compared to other threads and other financial writers I read. Not everyone embraces contrarianism to the degree many here do, so I'm not sure how representative of the general trading public we are compared to many others.
