For them that keep a radar on gold, keep an eye out for a new exchange traded fund whose ticker will be GLD. Each share of GLD will represent 0.1 oz of actual bullion. You'll be able to take them other nasty variables out and just play the price of gold. Hmm, you don't suppose people being able to buy paper gold might add a bit of demand for the shiny yellow stuff?
