Just got the 256 mb USB 2.0 Jump Drive which was on sale for $69 before a $20 rebate.

It's very fast, tiny and I recommend it. There are some days I don't feel like carrying the ole laptop everywhere.

Jump or thumb drives are great for the limited intended use of moving files between computers or limited temporary backups. 128MG is not much storage these days so I would opt for the largest you can afford. I have seen them up to 512MG.

I recently tried to print a file on a clients printer from my laptop, but didn't have his drivers. I copied the file to my thumb drive, connected the drive to the clients USB and was able to print the file.

Haven't tried it yet, but I think I can download digital photos from my camera to a laptop, and then up to a thumb drive if I run out of flash memory while traveling.
