Ed, "Iraqis Want U.N. to Control Oil Cash, Not U.S." Ahhh. The truth comes out. Reuters did not use the word 'control' as their description. They used it in a quote. Tell me, Ed. What Iraqis want the UN to 'control' the oil? Obviously, they have no official capacity. There is no Iraqi government. Even worse, you're actually quoting a guy who appears to be a crony of Saddam Hussein. Didn't you read the article? It says, "Naaman, an employee at Iraq's Military Industrialisation Commission in charge of developing weapons, said: 'The regime (of President Saddam Hussein) is gone, why are they staying?'" Now, put on your thinking turban for a moment. How many Iraqis got a chance to work in Iraqi weapons development that weren't drones for Saddam Hussein? Just maybe this guy a little bit prejudiced? The Reuters article is foolish. Asking Iraqis on the street is not a sound way to conduct Iraqi economic policy.
