Of course, you have no links to any of those manifestation of a paranoid delusional mind. OK, now go hunt around and find some nut who posts an article on the internet to support that idiotic drivel.

Start with your first sentence. Bush is "eager" to be shown as incompetent. Yeah, that will get him re-elected. What a fool you are!!!

The Israeli "connection." Do you have any common sense? The US has supported Israel's existence from its birth, through every administration, Republican or Democratic, liberal or conservative. Opinion polls have shown stronger support for Israel than most Presidential candidates receive. Israel would never jeopardize that support for a hair-brained scheme. The odds of pulling off something that would involve hundreds or thousands of people "shutting up" would be so low. And if it were found out, Israel would cease to exist. (Ah, now maybe I see what your agenda is.)

Please take your haldol.

Add these anomalies to the list of unanswered questions and dubious denials.

ShilohCat,

My compliments on a list of very worrying aspects of Operation 911.

To your excellent list, I'd add the following:

1) JCS General Myers was on Capital Hill when the first airliner crashed. Though informed of this, he didn't bat an eye in a meeting with a senior Senator, and continued his private conversation for the next hour or so, oblivious to the worst domestic terrorist attack in our nation's history.

2) There is a story circulating on the Internet, perhaps apochryphal, but worth checking out that several of the senior executives of companies with offices in the WTC were at Offutt Field in Omaha on the morning of Sept. 11th, attending a private breakfast meeting. You'll recall that later in the day, Pres. Bush's Air Force One was routed to Offutt Field in its erstwhile efforts to avoid potential terrorist attacks on Air Force One.

3) The reason given for fearing an attack on Air Force One was, in part, that a threat was communicated to the highest echelon of Bush's Secret Service by parties unknown who had access to privileged and "secret" codes for secure contact.

4) Condolezza Rice made the most astonishing denials that anyone at NSA or the other spook shops had any idea that a plane could be used as a missile, in spite of a FEMA report issued in early 2001 which showed a jet flying into one of the WTC towers on the front cover!

5) The USAF response to the attacks of 9/11 did not come from Andrews AFB where two squardons of fighter-interceptors were on standby. Rather, the response was launched from Langley Field, 180 miles from the Pentagon, rather than six minutes, tops, for an Andrews jet.

6) The USAF Andrews AFB website went down shortly after the attacks, and when it came back up, days later, all information regarding the fighter-interceptor squadrons stationed at Andrews had been removed from the website.

********
We have a massive coverup, a la Watergate, a 'smoking gun', not to mention several smoking buildings, and a story that is more full of holes than a gassy Swiss cheese.

Why can't America get the picture?

Why, because it isn't in the RWE press yet..........

But wait........ here' comes the cavalry!

Bush Knew and the CIA's boy Osama flew.....

Shilohcat,

Normally, I would also accept the incompetence theory...

I didn't use the word 'incompeten[t],' although it surely applies in certain ways. Rather, I specifically indicated inefficiency, the bureaucratic self-preservation instinct, and unrealistic expectations as contributing factors toward an apparent...and I'd emphasize again, indefensible...resistance to an investigation.

If there is a cover-up, what makes you believe that an investigation would reveal it? That is, as most conspiracy theories hold, this one goes "right to the top," an investigation wouldn't be similarly tainted? It seems a bit contradictory to jump to the conclusion that the government is covering something up, but that essentially the same government would reveal itself via an investigation; indeed, given the theories about 9/11, an independent investigation would seem unlikely if possible at all.

Unless, of course, we assume adding to the layers of conjecture that structure the conspiracy theory.

...but I am troubled by the apparent eagerness of the administration for us to adopt this view.

How has the administration shown "eagerness" toward the public adopting the view that it's incompetent. (Not, of course, that in many ways it isn't.)

Unusual happenings? Where is any evidence to support your incredible assumptions? Those "unusual happenings," as you call them have only occurred in your imagination... kindly present any credible evidence to support any of your paranoid claims... TIA
