I would never call Cheney stupid.

What I am trying to say in few words is that Cheney might be seen by many as being in a CONFLICT OF INTEREST position vis a vis his two roles of:

VP/Acting President
Ongoing receiver of funds from a Corporation

and therefore in the normal course of events he would
NOT PARTICIPATE in discussions, agreements, contracts etc
with that third party (Halliburton or subs)

I would suggest that the onus is on HIM to show that he did not/does not. Until then he is, in my view, quite properly under suspicion. Particularly when you award contracts without competitive bidding!

And in signing off "Namaste" I am saluting the Divine within and around and pervading you, but of course that still leaves you free to be misguided in the ways of your choice, including supporting the present Administration and its empire-building policies via war and domination. <ggg>

Nonetheless,

Namaste!

Jim
