Interesting .... actually i haven't heard any of the argument on mainstream media, just heard his name on the radio yesterday, with the news that the supreme court would hear the case, so i put 'Schmeiser' into google and came up with that there ..... how he actually got the seed in the first place would seem to be relevant [?] - if he merely selected out with Roundup the frankenfood stock that had landed on his fields it would seem at first glance his right to do so .... haven't thought this out much yet, though

He wouldn't need to buy the brand-name chemical, glyphosate is a generic product - infoventures.com

Also interesting that piece on maize ... i haven't heard anything about that since .... generally i think it logical to be sceptical of the whole idea of anyone owning a life form, or diddling around with the makeup of a life form ..... opens up huge possibility for catastrophe, clearly, so at least an initial position of opposing corporate frankenfoodism until it is proven beyond doubt to be benign is fairly understandable, imho
