Nope, not in the least. Regulations require the flight suit for all on board. Dubya actually flew the plane part of the way. For the speech he changed into a civilian suit.

One of Clinton's first speeches had him wearing an officer's jacket, sans rank or patches, and accompanied by a Marine Honor Guard in the Rose Garden.

No the main point of my post is that W was blurring the line between the military and civilian.

And Dukakis did the same thing. Indeed, Dukakis did even worse because he wore a military uniform while not being in the military, and he did this in the attempt to become Commander-in-Chief. He had no real cause to do it at all, EXCEPT to blur the line between military and civilian. Yet you laud Dukakis, the liberal, and condemn Bush the true military Commander and one who had true need of the uniform he wore.

I cast no stone here. I am merely pointing out a flaming hypocrite in our midst. YOU in fact are casting stones by condemning a conservative man simply for wearing a flightsuit that he needed to wear, and by approving a liberal man who wore a military uniform purely for publicity (and thereby doing exactly what you claim to reject).

You display not a shred of principle here. You've simply abandoned any attempt at honesty, to instead embrace lies. And for what? Mere politics, pure and simple. You've traded integrity for dumb politics. Moreover, you are being childish and remarkably petty.
