You seem to have problems comprehending the article you posted. I know its not an intelligence problem. Instead I think your bias is clouding your judgment.

Or perhaps I do not believe everything printed about what "Washington government officials" say, especially since these are the very same people who gave us the first 30-something estimate of missing archeological treasures. I hope I don't need to impress on you again just how wrong THAT estimate was, as evidenced by the recovery of tens of thousands of articles later on.
