I think the Democrats KNOW all they need to know about aircraft carrier landings: They are, when practiced by successful, victorious, PRO-AMERICAN presidents, the final nail in the Democrat's political coffin for GENERATIONS. That, and that alone, is why they CAN'T SHUT UP, as the quicksand of history gobbles them up. Robert Bird ("The King of Pork") mumbled and drooled. Terry McAuliffe PISSED HIS PANTS. All of which reminds me of a story in , I believe, Kissinger's memoirs. A prominent diplomat was relating a conversation he had with Dean Atcheson soon after "The Red Dean" had met and talked with Douglas MacArthur for the first time. Diplomat: "What did you actually SAY to General MacArthur when you met him?" Atcheson: "Before, or after I peed my pants?" The McAuliffes, Daschles, Birds, and Kerry's have NOTHING left to look forward to...
