ElM, murder isn't normally considered a civilized response to over-parking, trespass or sticking one's tongue out. Especially when the murder is done in another country.

If they had killed my daughter, who could have been visiting the boat, [if it had been twenty years later], I'd feel quite reasonable in felling the Eiffel Tower, blowing up the Elysee Palace and assassinating Mitterand to show them that there are consequences to their criminal attack. A bit like Saddam, Osama and Omar have learned there are consequences to their criminal attacks.

You are quite right that there need be consequences for criminal acts. France is going to get some consequences according to Colin Powell. I am looking forwards to that.
