Let's see...
Bryant...
4 million at say 17 a share...hummmm

68,000,000 million dollars...

That ought to tide him over for a while.

Add that to the 1.33 million shares he optioned in 2002 and before and he could conceivably make it up to $100,000,000.

He's definitely looking out for the shareholder right?
Note the singular..."shareholder" aka Bryant.

OT ... steve, re "You're TA is correct. 4 million [edit: option shares for Mr. Bryant] for 2003 is right."

Yeh, right. While you getting the 1,332,852 option share total from the proxy, you should have noted that 600,000 shares have a "first exercisable" date of 2007. And then if you had read the section about "Stock Options" (page 20), you would see ...

"Under the 1984 Stock Option Plan, Intel occasionally makes additional stock option grants to key officers and other senior-level employees in recognition of their future potential in leading the company. The vesting schedule for these grants is generally longer than that of regular stock options, typically vesting in increments beginning five years after the grant date, with the final increment vesting eight years after the grant date."

... and then you might understand those 600,000 shares are not likely to be an annual occurrence.

There are other clues as well, if you just look. Of the top 5 listed officers, only Bryant was granted options in March 2002 (page 25) .. and only Bryant and Vadasz received options in November 2002 (page 25). And even after those adjustments, Bryant and Vadasz *still* have fewer options .. of lesser value than the other 3 listed officers. (page 26)

So I suggest you and Jim actually try to comprehend the proxy material you are urging others to read. Then, perhaps, you won't continue to appear like schoolyard bullies .. running around, jumping up and down, laughing, and pulling little girls' pony tails.

And here is the proxy link you never bothered to provide. intel.com
