I don't exactly know why Bush is keen on Canadian oil when he already has in control the vast reserves in Iraq. Isn't this a case of pure greed? Well, maybe not. Oil can be shipped in tankers, but not gas.

What's with all the electricity plants built in the States based on converting gas to electricity? One would have thought with all the bright back-slapping business people over there, they would have figured out that converting energy source to another energy source is just plain dumb, especially when all the known gas reserves in North America are dwindling fast. Make a buck any way possible, and damn the environment and dwingling resources.

That's why War-Lord Bush wants to find gas in Alaska and he needs the 1500 miles of Canadian territory to pipe the gas South. I say no way should this be allowed. America has many enemies in the world. The last thing Canada needs is for some terrorist to blow up the gas line to the U.S., and in doing so, kill Canadians and destroy the Canadian environment. I think if Bush wants gas, he should declare war on Mexico and take their gas. After all, Presidente Fox is no longer on speaking terms with Bush after Bush reneged on his promises to Mexico. The moral of the story is... beware of all the talk of friends and neighbours, and the invitation to Bush's ranch.
