And if those frittered away boondoggles succeeded in paving the way for CDMA'S current undeniable success and in putting the fear of losing significant expansion opportunities in the future to the likes of NOKIA and the other GSM'ers, then I say let QCOM find more boondoggles to seed the earth with CDMA.

I salute a company that is astute in creating a new technology, in knowing the superiority of that technology when compared with its alternatives, and in daring to deploy that technology in a skeptical world. Those boondoggles have served to prove that that technology. The costs of its deployment is but another requirement of a company that is on its way to owning the wireless world future.
