Guangdong has used the steroids since early Feb. when SARS first has a breakout there. And the other day I read an English article describing how the US dealed with the 1st SARS patient (in FL), but the article conveniently left out one important part, which is that the US doctor who was in charge the patient called FoShan City 1st People's hospital (where the first SARS case showed up), and the Chinese doctors gave the US doctor a detailed instruction how to treat the patient. And the US doctor used it as instructed, and then the patient (an old Chinese lady who cannot even talk English) recovered. FoShan City 1st People's hospital has such an excellent record in treating SARS patients that their SARS death rate iS ZERO.
