recall the Versailles Treaty and how league of nations chose not to enforce it. Hitler himself wrote that any threat from even france alone would force him to run with tail between his legs. If you learn anything it would be how to create perfect conditions for rising of another hitler
How would you explain the fact that germany was supplying some of the equipment for iraq's nuclear, chemical and bio programs?
The fact is that germany tried to protect it's investments in iraq even if it would mean defending mass murderer.
