Re: Richard Perle is the embodiment of evil in high places

I'm inclined toward the views of outspoken British politicians who are way more honest about the American scene than our so-call Democratic opposition.

Ken Livingstone, Mayor of London, calls Bush a "fraud".

MP George Galloway has called Bush and Blair "wolves". And been promptly savaged by a Conservative MP using his bully pulpit in a proto-fascist newspaper to smear Galloway:

Gaining familiarity with the British media, I'm finding it much more colorful and entertaining on an intellectual level than the tawdry regurgitators of the U.S. Ministry of Truth's Mighty Wurlitzer**.

Did we see this item in the U.S. preas? (From the cited Observer article.)

"Or take Ed Gernon, executive producer of a CBS documentary about the rise of Hitler, who told a TV Guide interviewer that his programme's thesis 'basically boils down to an entire nation gripped by fear, who ultimately chose to give up their civil rights and plunged the whole nation into war - and I can't think of a better time to examine this history than now.' What, the thinnest of gossamer strands binding the Third Reich and the Second Bush? He got fired, too. CBS called his views 'insensitive and outright wrong'. "
