hi Kastel, thanks for your comments re CanRoys. i forgot to list a couple RTs i own--SJT and COS.un thanks to mcdep, which were in a different part of my spreadsheet. i have been following that stockhouse site for a bit thanks to your listing it on another thread. in general i guess i prefer the E&Ps as possibly a source of more price discovery (high yields of course keep the prices of RTs from getting too cheap), and i'm a bit leery on venturing into a large number of CanRoys as the RT structure seems often abused there. i was disturbed in particular by the mcdep site's comments on many of them. also, Grant's had a skeptical piece a few months back about the CanRoy structure being adopted by all sorts of non-resource industries. however, it is surely a good way of investing if you have names you can trust. which ones do you like?
