<font color=blue> You wrote:"They created this monster during the Korean war, it is their responsibility to fix it."<font color=black>

If you would read thru tens of thousands of posts on SI, you will find many that wrongly criticize either America or Israel for all of the evils and ills of the world, but they say nothing about all of the good that they have done for the world.

Where are all of the posts that criticize the largest country of the world, China? Like you said, China created the monster in North Korea and supports it. China, then, is responsible, in part, for the awful suffering by the North Korean people.

China had a chance for democracy in 1989, during the massive student revolt that ended with the slaughters in Tiananmen Square, followed by the crushing of the democratic movement. Sadly the student leaders didn't know how to compromise or to take it one step at a time. Democracy could have won if the students had better leaders, or had been better organized. Sad, isn't it?
